This beautiful repousse sterling silver
teapotholds 64 ounces! You won\'t
run out of tea while serving guests. :)
Measures approx. 11.5 inches across,
7.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high
and weighs approx. 25.23 ounces or 715.2 g.
This is a very substantial gauge silver teapot.
Spout is adorned below and above
with floral relief. Handle is adorned
with floral relief and has upper
and lower original ivory insulators
with original 8 pins.
Handle is hallmarked with
Hyam Hallmarks
QueenSovereign bust and lion passant
and handle is large and secured firmly.
There is a cartouche on one side of the pot
with the head of a boar on a platter.
This is the mark of theCampbell clan
or perhaps the centuries old
symbolfor is in fine repousse as expected,
original screw and butterfly nut securing
a gorgeous chrysanthemum handle
with 3D leaves on top.
Hinge is original with original pins
and is secured nicely.
H H Hallmark with 1867 date mark and
lion passant are on the underside
of the lid as well.Bottom pedestal
base has repeatingrepousse
florals with fancyscallopededges.
Bottom is hallmarked with
Leopard\'s Head (London Town Mark)
Lion Passant (certifying Silver quality)
and Makers Mark Hyam Hyams.
Followed by theSovereignperiod mark
(young Victoria bust) with date mark of 1867.

Less than normal wear on this well cared for piece.
Some teeny dings and surface scratching,
