The third volume from a three volume collection of Bunyan\'s work, with biographical additions by Offor.

With an engraved frontispiece and a number of engraved plates throughout, and a foldout facsimile entry by Miss Jane Phoebe Murray Smith into the Church Book of the Old Meeting House in 1834.

John Bunyan (28 November 1628 – 31 August 1688) was an English Christian writer and preacher. He is the author of The Pilgrim\'s Progress, arguably the most famous published Christian allegory. In addition to The Pilgrim\'s Progress, Bunyan wrote nearly sixty titles, many of them expanded sermons.

CONDITION

In a half calf binding by Blackie & Son with cloth covered boards and gilt detailing to the spine. Externally, generally smart but lightly rubbed in places; with some bumping to the extremities and some marks, and very slight loss to the top of the rear joint. Therear hinge is strained and the front hinge is tender.Internally, generally firmly bound with bright, clean pages; only scattered spotting and a few handling marks. There is a paper label, of the binder, to the rear pastedown; and a personal ink copperplate inscription to the front pastedown. Overall: VERY GOOD.
