Rare Deluxe Issue of the First Edition!
Rare, deluxe issue of the first printing (also offered in green cloth); bound in three-quarter leather over brown cloth with large gilt medallions on both covers. Page edges dyed in a marbled pattern, matching the end-papers. Complete in two volumes.
Condition Report:Leather is chipped and rubbed; corners bumped; books are in good condition for age, and still have a nice shelf appearance. Internally complete; pages are starting to yellow lightly around the outside edge. Complete with all the folding facsimile documents and maps; however, the folding plates are split along the seams, and some have creases from being poorly folded.
Overall a good condition complete set, of important American history books.
