Outstanding AND RARE1885 GorhamSterling St. Cloud Bowl With Gold Gilt on the inside of the bowl.

This piece is in wonderful condition! Thegold gilt, on the inside of the bowl,does have a littlewear, but it is evenlydispersed. There are utensil marks on the interior, but they do not detract. The piece has a beaded/scalloped rim and the highly elaborate repousse work is gorgeous.

The St. Cloud pattern was introduced in 1885 and is scarce.

Marked: Sterling; 2850 (Gorham Pattern Number); bears the Gorham Hallmark (Lion, Anchor, G); Figural Date Mark - I believe this is the Gorham date mark for 1885 (please see photograph).
