VINTAGE WHITING 1891 \"LOUIS XV\" STERLING SOUP LADLE, 5-3/4\" Long x 2\" Wide. It has a MONOGRAM, possibly C?? or G?? in a Gothic Letter. TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES...they are part of our description. Condition is VERY GOOD, some wear to be expected from USE and AGE...over 100 years...light scratching, and silver tarnish, that may appear as black spotting...needs to be polished to bring back BEAUTIFUL SILVER SHINE. Weight is about .9 Ounces on my Postal Scale, or 25.5146 Grams. Signed on the back with WHITING LOGO HALLMARK, STERLING, PAT. 1891, J. WINEBURGH (Retailer). I found an advertisement for J.
