Very Rare and original, Massive Size 1896 William McKinley Shell Brass embossed Campaign Badge / Pin titled \"The Hurrah Campaign Procession Badge\" manufactured by James Murdock Jr.

This large size, Presidential Campaign item measures approx. 6 1/2\" from top to bottom and features a 5\" diameter , gold gilt surface, shell brass medallion with raised portrait of William McKinley and text that reads \"Wm. McKinley For President. The Medallion hangs from a brass plaque with text that reads \"An Honest Dollar\" and this plaque is suspended from a large, eagle form, gold gilt surface, shell brass bar pin. The Medallion is backed with a cardboard insert with extensive Pro-McKinley text and slogans. The title of this impressive Campaign Pin is printed at the top of this paperboard insert - \"The Hurrah Campaign Procession Badge\".

This very rare and very large, 1896 William McKinley Campaign Pin is in very good condition. There are some dents to the embossed portrait and some spots of surface tarnish as can be seen in the scans below. The paperboard backing has some light soiling and light wear.
