DESCRIPTION:This is a RARE beer mug bearing the painted likeness of a Midshipmen football player! A wooden sailing ship is visible in the background. Manufactured by Laughlin, but this mug was custom-painted with a blue and gold jersey on the football player. Blue and gold stripes also appear on the top of the hangle. Appears to have \"\'97\" painted on bottom, perhaps 1897. Agreat gift for the USNA alumnus or collector!

CONDITION DETAILS:GOOD. Heavy glaze crazing. Paint additions and some paint loss -- appears to have been custom-painted. Two or three fleabite rim chips. Several starburst cracks on bottom that do not reach the inside. Staining from use on inside.
