1898 Pair Solid Silver Bon Bon Dishes by Henry Matthews Birmingham :

This is a fine pair of solid silver bon bon dishes. Each piece is hallmarked by the Birmingham assay office with the date stamp for 1898 on the dishes, silversmith Henry Matthews mark and the British sterling silver mark.
The dishes are 8.5cm in width, 15cm in length and 2cm high. Both are in good condition for the age but there are some very small black spots as seen on the photos which is quite normal with antique silver. A nice pair of dishes which can still be enjoyed today.
They would make a unique quality gift which is that bit more original.
