This is for a Vintage Antique 1898 Theodore Roosevelt For NY Governor Political Pin Pinback Button Teddy. Approximately 2-1/4 in. long overall, button itself is 1-3/4 in. across. Great condition, see pictures.
This is a nice looking and original intact condition political pinback button from the 1898 NY Governor campaign of Theodore Roosevelt...features photo image on front showing the Colonel in his Span Am war uniform....in very good overall structural condition with no major damages or excessive wear-..has original closure that is all complete on back and paper with a little poem on \"Teddys Luck\"..its supposed to have a rabbits foot attached on bottom but its missing...its 1 3/4 \"dia ...looks and displays well and is guaranteed original and authentic.
Original paper label reads: You can\'t stop Teddy\'s luck. The rabbit\'s foot charm. This rabbit was killed at midnight in the dark of the moon on the grave of a closed-eyed Spaniard on San Juan Hill Cuba. Price 10 cts each. The WHH Co. Pat 1898. You can buy an old rabbit foot on and complete this rare button!
