1899 Emil & Frank Bauer jeweled mull vinaigrette from Edinburgh assay office,from my mother\'s estate. Sterling silver, gilded under lid, silver lid repoussed with thistles, bezel set cabochon of Cairngorm jade approx. 1/3 inch in diameter, shield not engraved, mysterious carved indentation on one side, hallmarks shown in photos. Vinaigrette is in very good condition. Approx. 2 1/4\" long excluding chain.
Over the course of the next twelve months or so, I will be liquidating my mother\'s estate to help pay for my father\'s healthcare. My mother collected vintage items, antiques, French items, European items, but mostly French antiques.
