A very rare and unique Artwork by Bertha M. Cregeen of the Isles of man dated 1899. She was the mother of the famous artist Max Chapman 1911-1999. The frame has cracks from age and some chips especially on the corners. The back was taken off at some point in time and some new nails were added along with a newer wire. There are some small scuffs on the glass. Nevertheless, this is a very rare and important historic artwork. I\'m not sure who the portrait is of.
