This wonderful American silver salt cellar rests on four pad feet with gadrooned boarder. It has the makers mark IH for John Hutton of New York. It dates from the 18th Century and weighs 103.8 grams. It measures approximately 1 + 7/8 inches tall by 3 + 7/8 inches by 3 + ¼ inches at the feet. It is in excellent condition with one very minor push on one of the legs that can be seen on the interior.
