Description18th Century European Cavalier Horse Rider Original Oil Painting
Beautiful old painting of a horse riding cavalier from Europe.
The man appears to be either French or English, and he\'s riding a gorgeous black horse.
One can feel the energy of the man and animal as they gallop along.
The painting measures approximately 13\" wide x 10\" tall.
The canvas is nailed to the stretcher along the edges with small hand forged nails and round leather grommets. There are small areas of restoration and crazing to the varnish and paint.
It wouldn\'t surprise us if this was by one of the \"old master\" painters.
No signature that we can find. This is a really well done piece that will look phenomenal in your den or library!I-2065
