whole collection of ca. $6,000,- (!)I will start this sale with less than a half of this price!Good luck!The Lot contains the following:1. The very famous \"Judenordnung\" of 1751Issued by Prince-Bishop Friedrich Franz Ludwig von Buseck(1685-1756), was without any doubt the most
important regulations concerning the Jews of Fulda. It contains 46 paragraphs all about the Jews.
It says for example:§ 1 Every Jew who wishes to be admitted to the protection must present a certificate of his previous domination of his conduct and his property.
The amount of the property is to be certified by the local Jews. ...§ 6 On Christian holidays, the Jews may only perform quiet housework with closed doors. The cattle standing in the stables may only be led once to
the potions. ...§ 9 The protection based on the proper removal of the annual protective fees and other charges may be renewed for a further three years after the
protection expired....§ 10 The Fulda rabbi is declared the chief-Rabbi of the area.§ 11 On the basis of ancient traditions, the Christian priests receive half a florin from every Jewish household annually for the New Year. ...§ 16 Furthermore, the Jews may feed themselves by trade with cattle and goods, insofar as they do not impair the liberties of the Christian subjects,
and especially of the guilds. Folio, 4pp., absolutely Broadside, (highly interesting) issued by Prince-Bishop Heinrich von Bibra, (1711-1788) in 1764 concerning the right protection(!) of the Jews
of Fulda.
To the Jews of Fulda, the windows were broken by criminals at night, the roof-tiles were broken, the gardens ravaged, and the Jewish school and
synagogue were desecrated.
The government ordered that such wicked men be arrested and punished with all harshness of the law.
Highy unusual edict, which was issued for the protection of the Fulda Jews!
Folio Huge Broadside, issued by the Prince Friedrich Franz Ludwig von Buseck(1685-1756) in 1738, concerning the Customs charges of 0 Kreutzer
for foreign Jews, which was often not paid by the Jews.
This broadside was obviously hung as notice on a wall. Exceedingly rare most likely unique!
Large Folio Handwritten letter to the Fulda government (President) (double leaf) dated and sealed in 1730, concerning the beggar-Jews of Fulda.
