Large 18th century style lamp.Repousse and pierced brass.Bold early form with pierced conical lid and large bullseye lens.The convex lens has a diameter of 5 inches, 13 cms.Large dimensions:Height: 10 3/4 inches, 27 cmsDiameter of base: 4 3/4 inches, 12 cmsAge unknown - the gauge of the brass is quite thin - so this could be a later copy?Designed to be hand held or to be placed on a surface.Would look wonderful in a period interior. A good solution for drafty hallways, or where the candle will not always be supervised.
