18thc Colonial Boston silver serving spoon. Made by Samuel Minot, Boston (1732-1803). Measures approximately 11 1/2\" in length, weighs approximately4 ounces. Eagle motif. Heavy and solid.Great condition. This came out of an estate from thedescendants of Federal statesman Rufus King and his son, John Alsop King.
