Up for sale from a recent estate in Honolulu Hawaiithis circa 1900 late Monarchy Hawaiian lei hula Komoe style feather lei. The item was inspected by an appraiser thatgave me the details above and confirmed the authenticity of the item. He pointed out that these are non native bird feathers and could possibly be dyed. He also said that by the turn of the century the local bird population dwindled so that even QueenLiliuokalani was wearing leis made from non native bird feathers.
