You´re looking at a 1900´sANTIQUE FRENCH?? BRONZE JEWELRY FOOTED BOX WITH CHERUBS RESTORE PROJECT. The box shows signs of age and wear; it has lost its gilt. The box shows some scratches, paint chips, repaired areas, stains and dust. The lid has two cracks that have been repaired with some kind of clay or or modelling dough. Its back right foot and box area have been repaired also with modelling dough or clay, due to a crack or break and a missing part. The inside has no linning, and it shows signs of wear and glue remains, also you can see the modelling dough or clay that have been used to repair it. At the middle front and back you can see the figure of a cherub feeding a bird. Great as a restore project. It measures 5\" tall approx at its center part, x 6\" long approx., x 3 1/2\" wide approx. It weights 725 grams approx. I found it at an Estate Sale, in a lot with othe bronze items.
