This listing is for a wonderful and rare soutache duster coat that dates to the 1900\'s to early 1910\'s.It is considered AS IS - we have not attempted to clean or repair any of the issues listed below.Please inspect photographs closely and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.This would be an EXCELLENT piece for the antique clothing / sewing hobbiest to revitalize!It\'s a project - but a very cool one!RARE - and beautiful - even in current condition!
1900\'s duster coat, made of a linen blend, with absolutely incredible soutache ribbon detailing along the bottom hem and cuffs of the sleeves, that travel up the arms and throughout the garment.Body of jacket is a dark dusty rose color, with brown ribbon and dark brown fur trim.Matching detailing on the small stand up collar.Collar and front part of the garment are trimmed in a brown shearling fur.Coat flows away from the body and \"swirls and twirls\" nicely!It is lined in silk.
Areas of concern:-some parts of the fur have come away from the underneath layer.-the front of the jacket has about half a dozen pin-sized holes.-the front of the jacket also has some staining / discoloration.-the interior silk has shattered near the collar and somewhat at the hem, it is also stained.-the back has about half a dozen small stains, mostly pin-sized, with one larger.-the back and sleeves have some discoloration.
