I am offering for offer this 1901 Original Antique President Mckinley Mourning Black Silk Ribbon. I found this between some pages in a Old Stack of Books that I recently purchased at a local Estate Sale and will be listing as I research them. Someone has attached a Cardboard photo of Mckinley with glue at the top back part and I guess over the years it split and they just put Scotch Tape on the underside to hold the two pieces together. I am sure you could find a better Photo of him to take this one off and attach yours - but I will leave this to the New Owner. The main thing is the RIBBON and the Date and Wording ( see photo ). The Ribbon 5 1/2 in. Long x 2 in. Wide and both ends are a little frayed. Not sure if it had a PIN ATTACHMENT at the top and TASSELS on the bottom at one time? I am selling it as Found ! Really a great Historical Piece and would be great Framed and Displayed !
