Sweet Midwest estate find, here\'s a103-year old \"Butterfly Girls\" original chromolithographed die cut 4-panel calendar for 1904 and 1905. Copyrighted 1903 by Louis Klopsch,some believe artist was Frances Brundage although signature is not apparent. Top panelis marked, \"The Christian Herald - Brightest and Best Family Paper - Published Every Wednesday at the Bible House, New York City.\" Full 4 panel itemmeasures about 10-1/4\" wide x nearly 30\" long, and appears to have originally been metal-hinged together but now is taped together on backs (see photos). Each little girl has \"butterfly wings\" and the upper 3 show 4 month calendars for 1904, while the lower one shows a full year\'s calendar for 1905. Great find, rare and charming, as is.
