Rare 1907 B. P. O. E. Elks Grand Lodge Re-Union Chromolithograph on Tin Souvenir \"Vienna Art\" type Plate featuring a image of a nice Elk Buck in the center.

This round, tin lithograph Souvenir Plate measures approx. 9 1/2\" in diameter with a central image of the large Elk against a mountain background. The outer ring of the plate has a heavily gilded dark green and maroon design with seven historical insets. There are fine detailed pictures of William Penn, Philadelphia Public Buildings, the Liberty Bell, the Elk\'s Home at Philadelphia, the Washington Monument, Independence Hall and Betsy Ross. Text at the top of the plate reads \"B. P. O. Elks / Grand lodge Re-Union / Philadelphia July 15-20, 1907\". This \"Re-Union\" was similar to the \"National Encampments\" of other Fraternal Organizations and was held yearly in the early years of the 20th century.

The plate is unsigned by the manufacturer but is similar in construction and design to the Tin Lithograph \"Vienna Art Plates\" that were popular at the time. This tin lithograph plate was likely sold as a Souvenir to those attending the 1907 Re-Union held in Philadelphia. The image is unsigned by the artist but the design is exquisite and the tin lithography is of the very highest quality.
