You are offerding on an outstandinglot ofnewspaperrecaps of the 1908 through 1925 LB Poly football seasons - probably from the Press-Telegram but cannot be sure. These were carefully removed from a period scrapbook of a longtime Long Beach resident named Orval Elder. In this amazing lot you will receive a 4scrapbook pages, front and back, with the annual summaries of each season.I think the most interesting summary might be 1921 when Poly was banned by the CIF from football for one year for playing an out of the area team from Everett Washington for money. That was 1920 - how far are we from Poly being on probation for pushing the rules today??? Proud to offer this, I believe it is one of a kind.
