Many items I have on offer this week came from Gould Family - these items have been in storage for 30 + years

( descendent of Jay Gould - The Robber Baron ) and former occupants of Eastwell Manor in Kent .

Broderick / Gould family connections

Books have been in storage for last 30 or 40 years so smell a bit musty .

I believe this is 1st edition - dated London 1909 in front

In English - adapted from the German

UNFORTUNATELY WORN CONDITION

Cover has some spotting - poss. paint

Spine faded and section torn , wear to spine edges.

Front / rear inner covers pulled .

Some discolouration to inner pages and some spotting / foxing ?

I have counted all 15 colour plates - all present

Also have printed line illustrations throughout .

NOT MINT COPY

Obviously much loved used copy - has marks to pages etc

Does however have the most amazing illustrations as shown
