1911 Antique Stereoscopic Studies Of Anatomy Lower Limb Vol. 8 Photo Cards:
1911 Antique Set of Stereoscopic Studies of Anatomy Cards Prepared under authority of the University ofEdinburgh. Includes slipcase, index card & cards 2-32.
Original set of Stereoscopic photographs that show the progress dissection of the human body (this set features the Lower Limb). Each B&W Silver Gelatin photograph is mounted to card stock and were designed to view through a stereoscopic viewer (not included). These cards were to aid medical students in familiarizing themselves with human anatomy.
Photographs measures 6.25" x 3.5" mounted to a 7" x 9" card and feature numbers that correspond to descriptions above. All cards are housed in a cloth-bound slipcase.
Slipcase is in rough shape showing signs of water damage, staining and tearing. The cards also show signs of waterdamage, staining and warping but they are still in amazing condition for their age. The card corners are only slightly soft and are mostly in good condition. I can send additional photos upon request.
