1915 Elegant Gorham Plymouth Tall Coffee Demitasse Espresso Pot

Presented is a charming Gorham sterling silver coffee pot. This piece dates to 1915 and is made in the desirable Plymouth pattern. The pot is done in a tall upright style, like a demitasse or espresso pot, but the capacity is suitable for use as a small teapot as well. One side has a monogram of MGR in elegant script.

This piece is in great condition. The hinge of the lid is tight and in great shape. The handle has a little bit of wiggle but is still sturdily attached. There are no splits, no leaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

The underside of the piece is stamped \'sterling\' and with the maker\'s mark for Gorham, as well as the number A2311 and the date mark of a dagger for 1915. Not shown are the capacity stamp of 1 1/4 pints (20 fluid ounces/0.6 liter) and a retail mark for Henry Kohn & Sons Inc.

The pot stands about 10 5/8 inches tall.

This piece weighs 459 grams or 16.2 regular ounces.
