This is an original full page ad from the December 1918 issue of Ladies Home Journal featuring artwork created for Oneida Community Plate silverware by Maxfield Parrish. This is the original ad taken from a magazine. The page was neatly trimmed to the edges of ad and measures about 9-1/4” x 14-1/2”. The lower margin is printed with a 1918 copyright. This ad is mount at the corners to a piece of construction paper and is in good condition overall with minor wear. This ad is part of a collection I am selling that was put together by someone who taught high school art from the 1920s to 1950s. Please see my other listings for more early Maxfield Parrish ads.
