BACKGROUND:

Arthur Rackham, (born Sept. 19, 1867, London, Eng.—died Sept. 6, 1939, Limpsfield, Surrey), British artist best known for his illustrations for classic fiction and children’s is Fair. Some wear to edges/weathered boards, water blemish to lower front corner right edge, some lightening/darkening to boards, bleeding/blemish to inner boards/end pages edges, spotting to half title, some spotting throughout, mainly to margins, brown shadow squares from tissue guards, some glue to inner spine, text block is good, hinges are very good, plates are excellent for close to 100 years old!!!
