Wonderful 1920\'s Martha Chase 20\" Stockinet boy doll! Head is crazed, doll has the cloth shoulderhead and limbs that have been painted over! Face may have been repainted? Fingers are stitched separately! Left lower front part of cloth body is atamped with the Chase Stockinet Trademark(no photo close-up of this). Back right side of back has the paper tag and old store tag from J.B. Sheppard & Sons, 1508 Chestnut St., Philadelphia. Tag shows the price of $2.75 for the doll, $2.38 for the clothes for a total of $5.13! Doll is in very good condition, ears ar shown in photos. Clothing is original to doll. Romper has a tear at middle top front but clothes otherwise nice. Stuffed cloth body has some darkening at shoulders and tops of lega. Hard to find 1920\'s Martha Chase 20\" stockinet boy doll in this condition. I don\'t think doll was restored but may have been? Remember: This is a 3 day sale!
