Up for your consideration is this 1920s PFLUEGER \"SUMMIT\" 2nd Series JEWELED LEVEL-WIND CASTING REEL & LEATHER BAG. This sale includes the 2nd Series Pflueger \"Summit\" Casting Reel carefully packaged for the winner. This item comes from the WPC collection out of Minnesota. Our collector has been collecting over 50 years. This collection will take a long time to complete. We suggest keeping an eye out for our listings and adding us to your favorite sellers!

MARKINGS: The head plate reads: Pflueger Summit. The foot plate is not stamped. Exact age unknown but KNOWN TO BE A 2ND SERIES REEL from the late 1920\'s. Thanks Mark!! :)

2ND SERIES SUMMIT CONDITION: ....This reel WORKS AS DESIGNED and is mechanically sound having all parts fully inspected.... Plates measure 2\" in diameter. The pillars are 1-7/8\" wide. THEY DON\'T GET MUCH BETTER OUT-OF-BOX!! The clicker works and sounds strong! The line-guide travels back and forth as it should. With clicker off the handle and spool spin free and easy! Both old school amber color handle knobs are in fine condition and with out damage. SOME BUT MINIMAL USE IS NOTED! THIS ONE IS VERY VERY CLEAN AND IN CLASSIC AND TOUGH CONDITION! ...
