- Estate Fresh - Found in Old House -This delightful lot of vintage Christmas accessories comes to you estate fresh from an old Hudson County, New Jersey home we recently liquidated (one of those types of houses where generations never threw anything away). Found packed away among old trunks and boxes, this lot has been undisturbed for decades!
Dating to the early 20th Century this pair of iron candle sticks each measure 4” square by 1-5/8” tall. The underside of these weighty holders are marked with “Snead Co. J.C. N.J.” The Snead Foudry not only did houseold goods like these but also did major metalwork for famous buildings like the Library of Congress and Washington Monument. Overall nice condition. There is a tiny hole dead center of one stick center hole. I\'m not an expert on items like this, so I\'ve included many large images below for your grading needs.
