Item: Large 1920s Royal Doulton Stoneware Tobacco Jar Humidor
Description: This is a wonderful stoneware Tobacco jar which has a metal seal which slides into the slots on either side of the jar to keep the Tobacco airtight. It has hand-painted pastoral scenes and rolling pasture with cows, sheep, a church, stands of trees, and a windmill. It is done in lovely colors of blues, greens and browns and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks; there is a tiny manufacturer\'s flaw underneath the lid which you can see in the last photograph. It is marked with the Royal Doulton imprinted seal on the bottom with the number 8468.
