Scarce and unusual wall pocket or wall vase, attributed to Dorchester Pottery, Massachusetts, circa 1920s, of flaring form with modeled rim, the flat-paneled back side with integral hanging hole, finished in a mottled medium-blue glaze, approx. 4-7/8\" tall, the underside with an old handwritten note reading \"Verified by Charles Hill Feb. 1971 to be Dorchester Pottery, circa 1928.\" In excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, or crazing.
