Stylish antique brass/white lead elephant, made by the Frankart company in the 20\'s. Heavy for its size. Roughly 4.5\" tall by 6\" wide. From Kovels:\"Frankart, Inc., New York, New York, mass-produced nude dancing lady lamps, ashtrays, and other decorative Art Deco items in the 1920s and 1930s. They were made of white lead composition and spray-painted. Frankart Inc. and the patent number and year were stamped on the base. Frankart also made green metal figural clocks. \"
