The last 4 pictures are of two items that are marked 1847 Rogers. The pattern engraved on these look to be the Ancestral pattern. All of the Ancestral I have handled are back stamped with the pattern. It is common practice for the 1920\'s and 30\'s Rogers to not have the pattern backstamp. One of the pieces is a glass insert Butter Dish while the other is a standard coveredVegetable Dish. If you have come across any of these pieces or are interested in buying these, please contact me. The pieces do not appear in the original Ancestralcatalog that appears in the Fashion Sterling Flatware web site.
All our silverplate is from Estate finds.
