This is a card with a note and autograph of Thomas Beer. He lived from 1889 to 1940 and wrote short stories, novels and biographies. This autograph is on his stationery from Yonkers, New York and was mailed on October 21, 1930. The card says \"Sorry to be so late with this. Thomas Beer.\" The card is 4\" by 5\" and it comes with the original envelope in which it was sent to Ruth Johnson, who collected autographs in the early 1930s. Both the card and the envelope are in good condition.
