Charlie McCarthy was quite a man about town 87 years ago. He was filled with wise cracks, made his creator, Edgar Bergan, rich and famous and is the grandfather of Candice Bergan. This Charlie was made by the Louie Marx Company (not brothers though they were around too). He has some scratches, a tiny bit of rust, but he\'s still in great shape for a dude of 87, though he just received a transfusion of WD-40. He still walks and his mouth moves up and down though he may need an occasional nudge. He stands about 7.5 inches tall.
