I\'m sure this 1930\'s or 40\'s-era Mickey Mouse doll has tales to tell. It\'s in fair vintage condition, with patina and wear consistent with age. Both ears are a bit tattered, and there\'s a small hole in the back of Mickey\'s shorts, and on the bottom of his left foot, but these things just make him look more interesting. The body and the shoes are a soft velvet-like material, and the legs and the bottom of the feet seem to be wood. The body and the head appear to be stuffed. All of the stuffing is fully contained - nothing loose or escaping. This is a really cool piece. I\'ve never seen another one like it.

Although this piece no longer has a stamp on the foot or a button in the ear, I believe it is a Steiff.
