WELCOME TO MY LISTING OF THIS,

NICE QUALITY SOLID SILVER & ENAMELCIGARETTE CASE,

BY ADIE BROTHERS,BIRMINGHAM,1935.

This very nice early 20th century silver/enamel hallmarked case is beautifully chased and has a gilt interior,and is hallmarked Birmingham 1935 and weigh\'s 92.6 grams.All decoration to the case is very crisp and clear, as are the hallmarks on the interior along with a short inscription.As per pictures it has had at some point a small silver addition we think,maybe something like a ladybird,cat,bird or similar that has come astray from the case,hence the chip to the enamelling.It could easily be replaced by a competent jeweller at little expensegiving you a nice case with a value of around £300. The case opens easily and shuts firmly and measures 8.5 cm by 7 cm and is 1 cm deep.

Lovely addition to any collection or purely as a stand alone piece.
