A STUNNING & EXTREMELY EXTREMELY RARE PEN FROM GERMANY , FROM MY PRIVATE COLLECTION!
FEND, are thelegendary Pforzheimbasedjewellersrenowned for the artistry andworkmanship. This is an Art Deco style Chrome Piston filler from the house of FEND that has been meticulously restored and brought backtoits original beauty! Fend piston fillers are rare and even rarer and hard to restore. This pen was bought in Prague in 1935 and soon after was fixed with a lovely responsive Waterman #2 soft spring flex nib, its had thismic pretty much all itslike and when one writes with it, its not hard to see why....its wonderful to use!This nib just keeps going and going!.Amazing dynamics andresponsive,wet, flex lines...its wonderful!The cork piston has also beenrestored with a fresh cork. Somewhere in the past Ibelieve the blind cap got lost....but the owner was so fond of the pen that he had a replacementmdd in sold 14K gold!....and thats still there, superbly matched as well! The penunusually has Fend\'s reverse piston mechanism that works just on the opposite way of most other makers....soturning the piston knob rightwards will lower the piston. Its the only one of its kind I haveseen from FEND and is an absolute stunner and STUNNING original condition!! This is a rare scarce beauty!
