This 1938 Charlie McCarthy Marx tin wind up buggy was the toy of an 84 year old friend of mine who had it since he was a child.The wind up mechanism is in need of repair.When you wind it up after a few turns there\'s a clunk sound,i\'m told that there\'s something in the coil that should catch and then the buggy would run crazily with his head spinning and the back of the buggy stand up.Since I\'m no expert I don\'t know if it\'s fixable or not.it measures approximately 7\" L.
Nevertheless it\'s still a rare antique toy that collectors would like to add to their collection.
