DESCRIPTION : Here for sale is an originalvintage EXTREMELY RARE Hebrew illustrated and photographed BUS DISPLAY POSTERby the \"DAN\" bus company from TEL AVIV Eretz Israel ( Then also refered to as Palestine ). The POSTER ,Especially designed to be hanged in “DAN” buses by the DAN BUS COMPANY , waspublished around SIXTY YEARS AGO in the late 1940’s up to the very early 1950’s ( One Anglo-Palestine Pound is shown in the poster - Prior to 1951 ) , Before and right after the establishment of the INDEPENDENT STATE of ISRAEL and its 1948 WAR of INDEPENDENCE. , for thepurpose of encouraging the passengers to prepare their small change for the BUSTICKET - FARE. It also includes quite aggressive instruction to prepare thesmall change in advance . The text is very archaic and partly written in rhyms. The somewhat humorous ILLUSTRATED and PHOTOGRAPHED Jewish - Judaica - Judaism - Israeli Transportation related poster is VERY RARE and inFINE condition .It shows a BUS DRIVER inside the DAN BUS , Wearing histypical DRIVER CAP. He receives from a passanger a money bill of ONE ANGLO - PALESTINE POUND which clearly indicates the period. “DAN” was and still is the TEL AVIV and vicinity BUS COMPANY while the “EGGED”buses are serving all the other Israeli areas. 11\"x 13\".
