LAST CHANCE! I WILL NOT BE RE-LISTING THIS AGAIN!Up for sale is an AWESOME 1940\'S ART DECO WALL BOX or TABLE TOP JUKEBOX SELECTOR by PACKARD MFG mounted on an OAK DISPLAY BASE. Butler Golden Age? This is a 5cent machine with 24 selections. I believe these were used pre-WWII war through the 50\'s but don\'t quote me on that. This selector is in excellent condition for it\'s age. It includes the key which works. It is mounted on an oak base. It was used as a lamp base. I removed the lamp hardware. There are 2 very tiny professionally drilled and threaded mounting holes on the back that held the lamp stem on the back if you want to use it as a lamp again. The wood base is drilled and notched to accommodate the lamp stand and cord. Otherwise it can be removed from the wood base or just left attached as a nice display. The chrome is clean and shiny w/ negligible normal marks. There is no rust. It could use a little more detail cleaning around inner edges but I will leave that to you. There is a small flaw in the glass. A bit of the red paint was scraped off from the backside. See photos. The knobs turn beautifully and freely. All the selection labels are still intact. Several are readable and clear. Others are intact but the typing is very faded. They can be read if you look closely. Others are blank. A number 98 was scratched into the top label plate. See photos. It appears to be from a country style diner. The selections are by Country artists from way back in the day. The red stripes have some of the paint missing which is normal paint aging. Same with the black paint around the \"play\" arrows. This is easily restored. I am a sign painter and it is an easy fix. If I were going to keep it and restore it, I would do it myself. The inside is very clean and all wiring intact. There is no bulb in the socket and I don\'t have any to put in. Even the fuse looks good. With the right know how, I wouldn\'t be surprised if it all works. That is just my pure speculation. I absolutely cannot guarantee that it functions as I have absolutely no way or the knowledge to test it. THERE IS NO CREDIT UNIT COIN BOX INSIDE. There actually is one for sale elsewhere on . The money falls through where it\'s supposed to or goes into the side coin return slot. This belonged to my dad\'s estate. He was a collector and I originally planned on keeping it, but I have so many of his wonderful things and the house I bought is small. I just cannot keep it all. Please look at all photos carefully. I tried to be as accurate as possible. Hopefully I didn\'t miss anything. If you see an accidental omission, I would totally appreciate your input! Dimensions are...
10&1/2\"H X 7&1/2\"W X 6&1/2\"L without the base. Base is 10\" X 8\" X 1&1/4\" It weighs 13 pounds. Total weight packed for shipping is 16 pounds. Shipping is actual. Sometimes it is actually cheaper to ship Priority (go figure). It depends on your location. I initially figure Parcel Post to save you money, but if it ships cheaper Priority, I will send it that way and refund any extra. I will pay for insurance. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
