Exceptionally rare and original, 1940’s Signed John Wright Cast Iron Seahorse form Figural Bottle Opener in original paint. This beautiful and charming Seahorse Bottle Opener measures approx. 4 1/4” tall and 2 1/4\" wide overall. It is very large and heavy for this type of Cast Iron Figural Bottle Opener features beautifully colored, full figure Seahorse with an ocean wave at the rear edge of the base forming the bottle opener itself. This wonderful Cast Iron Opener is signed on the bottom of the base \"John Wright Inc. / © 1947\".
This outstanding, original Figural Bottle Opener is in excellent condition - there are no breaks, cracks, damage or repairs of any kind to the figure. The original paint is 95%+ intact with only small nicks to the surface (see scans below for a good representation of paint condition). There are a couple of small areas of light surface discoloration to the paint that will like clean up.
PLEASE NOTE: This Bottle Opener is unconditionally guaranteed to be an original 1940\'s cast iron Figural Opener and is NOT a reproduction, reissue or of modern manufacture but an original Opener manufactured and distributed in the early 20th century!!
