1950s Horsman 20\" All Composition Baby Doll- Lovely Condition!
Description: A 1940s unmarked Horsman baby doll in lovely condition, 20 inches tall. She is all composition with straight legs, jointed shoulders, hips, and neck. She has moulded and painted hair and brown glass sleep eyes with natural lashes, red felt tongue, two upper teeth. She wears her original dress and under garment and an added knitted jacket and booties, and nylon bonnet. She is nice and clean, all fingers and toes intact. Paint is excellent - very little wear on the head. Absolutely minimal crazing.
Her dress is in clean sound condition. The undergarment is clean but torn (photo #9). There is a bit of crazing to the composition on the back of one arm. One toe is lightly chipped (photo #11). The elastic has given out on her interior string , so her head and limbs hang very loosely (photo #10). The string is still strong and could simply be knotted more tightly. One eye is crazed, which looks a bit odd, but it is an easy repair. Please enlarge our photos for nice clear views of condition. Ask questions before offerding, please.
