Description:

A very nice1940s-eraNOMA #123 \'Star of Bethlehem\'tree topper illuminated with 5 C-9 bulbs. This sturdy piece is made of heavy stamped steel with Bakelite sockets and plug and wired with stout rayon-wrapped cord. This is a wonderfully nostalgic example of pre-war holiday lighting!

A cheery \'Merry Christmas\' greeting is punched in the center of the nickel-plated steel star.

This star came to us witha group of five 1940s-1950s era green GE swirl-flame bulbs, so we\'vekept them with it, no sense splitting them up now!

CONDITION:
Thestar isin excellent condition, no damage~theBakelite sockets and plug are shiny and bright, the cord is pliable and sound with no damage or fraying, the steel is clean andshiny with no dents or scratches, but the nickel-platingdoes exhibita small bit of wear and light oxidation~as shown inour copiousphotos.
