SNOWMAN NODDER W GERMAN CANDY CONTAINER PAPER MACHE OFFERED FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A VINTAGE 1940s PAPER MACHE SNOWMAN NODDER CANDY CONTAINER. HE IS 6.5\" IN HEIGHT AND MADE OF PAPER MACHE WITH ALL OVER PAPER FLOCKING. HE WEARS A BLACK TOP HAT, HAS BLACK AND WHITE GLASS EYES, PIPE CLEANER ARMS AND CARRIES AN UMBRELLA. HE SEPARATED IN THE MIDDLE FOR CANDY TO BE INSERTED. TOP HALF OF HIS BODY IS BLUE AND BOTTOM IS WHITE. HE IS MARKED ON BOTTOM OF FEET: US ZONE/ GERMANY. THIS DATES HIM BETWEEN 1945-1952. HE IS USED, BUT REMAINS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH JUST SOME MINOR AGE WEAR. HIS HAT DOES SHOW SOME PAINT CHIPS TO EDGES AS PICTURED AND NOSE WAS PROBABLY PAINTED RED AT ONE TIME. MOST OF THE RED PAINT IS GONE. HE IS A GREAT Christmas COLLECTIBLE AND WOULD ENHANCE ANY COLLECTION.
