PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WORDS, DHINC WATERMARK ARE NOT ON THE ITEM ITSELF

You are offerding an original old snapshot showing 3 US AirForce men, all presumably pilots since they are in flight gear, goggles, etc.,and one with a leather jacket with a large patch on HIS left side, (theright side on the photo). In the background you can see some US Fighteraircraft, airplanes and at least one tiger or shark mouth or teeth. Theyare identified as Summerall, Bond and Beck and the location is given as C-K,Chung King, China. This is another of a number of photos/snapshots which wereacquired at a local estate sale in OKC. The man was a veteran of WorldWar II and was stationed in China and Burma in the 1940s, and, according towhat he told his neighbor, whenever an airplane came into their base, he wouldtake a picture of it. The box in which they or it, were found saysPhotos, India, China, & Burma, 1942-45 so I would date it from thatera. Although cut a little unevenly, it measures approx. 3” x 21/8”. There are three bright spots in the left half of the imageand I would say that it is probably only in good/very good condition because ofthe spots which are flaws. Also, there is some layering and rounding atthe corners, a short light diagonal bend or impression in the top leftquarter, a small light bump, nick and/or crease at the tips of the corners, some layering and/or a few small nicks along the edges, some light surface wearand the impression from part of the writing on the back of the snapshot can beseen on the front of the snapshot, and other light wear. The snapshot does notlay flat. There is darkening, foxing, spotting and/or cloudiness on the back ofthe snapshot. Please see our OTHER LISTINGS of vintage paperitems, photos and postcards including other related WW II snapshots. Weare happy to combine lots, when possible, to reduce the s/h costs. US buyerpays $2.90 s/h, cardboard reinforcement, which includes tracking, or, IFREQUESTED, NOT ADVISED, $ 1.00 s/h with NO REINFORCEMENT, NO TRACKING, for onephoto only if the sale amount is less than $ 10.00. All othersales, above $ 10.00 and multiple snapshots, MUST pay $ 2.90 s/h which doesinclude the cardboard reinforcement and tracking, and OklahomaresidentsMUST pay applicable sales tax. Good Luck!
