This was purchased several years ago st an estate sale were the gentlemen had no living relatives. Very sad as this is part of history. He served our country in the Navy WW2 and this is a letter of Commendation he received from the White House, Facsimile, autopen signature by President Harry S. Thurman. It is the original 1945 or 46 letter he received and is in a frame. The frame on edges is pretty beat up. 8.5\" x 11\"
