A boxed, nearmint & fully serviced USA-made Parker VS fountain pen in thehighly desirable Rust colour with a heavily plated gold-filled cap(1/8 14k gold-fill rather than \'just\' 1/10 12k commonly found onlater pens) & a 14k nib.
The pen is an AF(aluminium-fill) model only in production between 1947/8.
The condition ofthe pen & the box suggest it has rarely, if ever, been used. Thecap has no dings, dents or any plating wear. The barrel is glossywith no obvious signs of general wear or use.
Before I beganservicing pens myself, I had this pen professionally serviced about14 years ago & it was returned with a note \'Nice smooth flexM(edium) nib. Fab\'. The pen has never been used since then althoughI\'ve water-tested it to ensure it remains in good working order.
Even the box isin excellent condition bearing in mind it\'s now around 70 years old.It has no splits or other damage & no significant stains, marksetc.
